Mine was also gross inside. Funny enough I had two and then cleaning up my shop today found a third so I just tore it apart. For the 50 bucks in parts it¡¯s worth having a ready to go spare I think

I believe the ECU is grounded through the main engine ground to the intake manifold so you could check that.There are documented problems with poor ground connection there. The ECU supplies a ground

Mike, A few easy ideas: 1) Put a volt meter across your battery and see what the voltage is when cranking. I¡¯m not sure what the minimum voltage would be here but seems like a logical first step. 2)
