Re: EJ25 Injector testing?
I did not have my injectors serviced and I wish I had. I kinda thought my engine was ready to go but now I think I’ll pull the injectors and have them professionally serviced by Mr Injector. It’s

Re: EJ25 Injector testing?
Here's my test report. I shipped my injectors last Thursday and had them back in hand on Friday. Glad I did this; thanks for the rec.

Warren’s Conversion - 2.1 Engine and Tranny Removal
I thought as I move to phase two of this project it would make sense to start a new topic related to pulling the engine and transmission from my 89 Westy.
Hang with me as I’ll need some advice

Re: Warren’s Conversion
Now the engine is on the motorcycle lift and I’ll move it aside as I get started on the next phase.

Re: Warren’s Conversion
I got the flywheel installed but when I tried to torque the bolts the engine wanted to turn (backward no less!). So I used my crank pulley tool to brace it.

Re: Warren’s Conversion
Okay, after reading directions more carefully the studs have to come out because they are replaced with bolts.

Re: Warren’s Conversion
I’m about to install the RMW adapter plate. I’m pretty sure those highlighted studs come out. Can someone confirm? ?Thanks!

Re: Warren’s Conversion
Here’s a shot of the engine on the motorcycle lift. It’s resting completely flat and stable on the RMW oil pan which is so robust I’m sure it’s suitable for the task.

Re: Warren’s Conversion
I used pipe nipples and washers between the rails to keep the channel from getting bent when tightening the bolts. This whole idea was great for a Subaru engine but I’m not sure I would trust it on

Re: Warren’s Conversion
So today I got the engine off the stand and onto the motorcycle jack that I intend to use when installing it in the bus. The Harbor Freight 1,000 pound engine stand and their 1 ton shop crane /hoist

Re: Alt light fix, 85 westy
Hey Anthony.

Re: Alt light fix, 85 westy
I think I may have solved my issue. I found this black wire soldered to the blue wire mentioned by Busaru behind the fuse panel. Disconnected the wires and now my alt and oxs light come on when I turn

Re: Warren’s Conversion
I only temporarily installed the alternator and ac compressor because I have to remove them to hook the engine to a hoist, which connects to the ac bracket. ?I’m very happy to have it this far
