since it's a conventional 3 wire 02 sensor .. it does not have to be the real subaru connector plug. you could wire directly and splce every time... or .. a deluxe Bosch generic 3 wire oxygen sensor

...IIRC, the Oil Switch wire in the black box is Blue/Black. If you ground that wire at the White round connector the LED should stay lit with ignition on.
