I picked up a new bench for my SB 9 from Home Despot for not much money.? I am quite pleased with it. It seems well built, the drawers are great and it is just the right size.? It comes with both wheels and leveler screws.? It sure beats the 1950s steel desk I used before.

Yes Mr pete is one of my favorites & I've watched e few of the others.i have a paper copy of HTRAL that I keep on hand usually to freshen up on threading before I cut any threads etc.i have read it through awhile ago but just use it for reference not an expert by any means but also far from new to machining.Aside from my little Atlas lathe I also have a Rockwell vertical mill.I work weekends at a CNC shop but we've got about half a dozen Bridgeports, around 8 Hardinge lathes,a Colchester& a few others.I started life in my Dad's automotive machine shop, where we did complete engine overhauls.Just a little of my background.?
