If you don't have the Ilion rebuild manual I highly recommend it . Ya can buy it with or without wicks . Depending on the condition of yer lathe you may want/need the wicks kit . The book is a real

Are you contemplating grinding one?
Does your lathe handle 6TPI?

Ya can cut metal roofing & some sheet metal with a saw blade on backwards ,it's a lot more common then most folks would think . I even saw a guy use a chain saw with the chain on backwards .
