There is most definitely a planned sequel to this story. Think of this
story as the Empire Strikes Back. :p
Oh god...
No ewoks
PLEASE!?!?!?!
I cant stand those little buggers. Like squirrels with stone age
technology. Tree-Rats of doom designed only to be cute for marketing
purposes.

On the other hand, Slave hermione in the slave girl outfit with Ron
frozen in Carbonite.....
Luke=Harry
Hermione=Leia
Ron=Han
Ginny=.....Chewbacca?

Sounds good

Cheers

Re: Chapter 12 Review.

For that matter - when you're done with a given story, would you
complain if I converted them into MobiPocket files for PDA? I own
the Creator software for it, and am converting my own stories over.
(Did it for Refiner's Fire as well - 10,346 pages on the LifeDrive.

As for the story, I loved certain references - Abraxan liver and Old
Crows feet? (I admit that the conversation between Dan and Harry
was reminiscent of a certain beach scene - without the crying.)

DAMN YOU! You have a knack for keeping us on the edge of our
seats. As
with all things in war there are casualties and as bleak of a
picture
as you are painting, you are leaving me asking the age-old
question;
who will survive?

He-Who-Is-A-Halfblood is after one thing. POWER! He does not care
about blood purity in the least and as such, nobody will be safe. I
cannot help but think of Hitler and WW2 when I think of what is
coming
as it poses a couple questions.

1. Will Toms rein be any different then Hitler's?
2. What will happen to Dumbledore? Somehow, I doubt that he
will get
his wish to be considered greater then Merlin. In fact, I would
assume
that Tommy Boy would have a greater remembrance.
3. Will Hogwarts survive?

I am curious. Do you have the sequel already outlined?

Wonderful story you have going. I just hope that the real life
monster
stays away from you so we can read this faster. I am also wondering
what Arthur is doing. With him living at the office has he any
plans
for returning the rest of Harry's money. Can you make Ron a Jackass
Animagi? He fits the bill to a "T".

On another note… Can I convert your stories to HTM and post them
here?
Each would be in two or three parts depending on size as I like to
keep them under a Meg for those on slower computers but they would
have selectable Tables of Contents to be able to read the
chapters.

Dumbledore's Army and it's sequel Spiritus Crystalus do have a
manipulative dumbledore and its a Harry/Ginny ship. However that
dumbledore comes around eventually.

Its hard to provide a quick summary for the two books totaling over
400K words. Read then, don't read them. It's your choice. :)

Chapter 12 Review

Thanks to a wonderful idea by Bob I now have some Honey Glazed Baked
Kneazle to go along with this review....mmmmmmmmmmm...so tasty.

Floaty/Stuck/Hanging Snape and Dumbles. Very humerous. I am curious
about the other staff though? Would Hagrid try to chisel them off?
what about Sprout and the rest? Or by coincidence, off camera, did a
quiet message get circulated and they happened to casually avoid the
area thus not even know anyhting was going on, as a display of quiet
support to Harry?

Gingotts is now warned. Well, they will be Happy. They can move high
risk goods offshore and make a mint that way:)

It's good to see Arthur finally owning up to all his wrongs. I do hope
Harry will forgive him, he has always been the harmless, henpecked
husband who just wants everyone to be happy. It's so sad how far he
has fallen and now he is paying the prince. *grins* Perhaps he could
transfer more money back to Harry and cut off Molly's access to the
vault. After all, he has left her and he is the one that works, not
her. Be good to have her actually have to work for once. See how real
people live. tIt is good that he is trying to do the honest thing
though, It shows the type of person that he is, that even at the end,
when he knows he is wrong, he will try to admit it and make amends.

I did love the Ghostbusters quote at the end....
I have seen it in a few fics and love the idea of Dan Granger as a
closet sci-fi geek.

There is going to be a Sequel?? I thought this was a stand alone
story? I do hope that there isnt going to be some kind of powerboost

Just read Chapter 12.

I am loving this story, which is strange as I usually hate H/Hr and
R/T. Somehow you manage to pull them off without hurting my
delicate
sensibilities!

What else...

Your McGonagall is a delight. I'm loving the wicked sense of humour
you're showing in her. More Rebellious!McGonagall please.

More Filtwick too please - he must be one of the most fascinating
yet
underused characters in the Potterverse. I'm loving the snippets of
him we've seen so far!

Getting the Goblins on side - becoming a bit of a cliche nowadays in
these multichapter post OOTP fics, but a necessary one I think.

Arthur coming round - had to happen. How he puts up with the
banshee
sometimes is beyond me. Glad he's growing a pair! But will it be
soon enough to save him? And how will Harry react when he finds
out?
hmmmm... questions questions...

As for the rest of it...

Enjoying the interaction between Harry, Draco and Narcissa. It's
good
to see them being recognised as family. Poor Lucy's not having much
luck - shame *cackles evilly*

Drunk!Harry - oh more please! ROTFL

The meeting - didn't really tell us much more, but I can tell things
are about to get very interesting!

Thank you Bob and Alyx for taking the time to write this, you're
making a lot of people very happy.

Michapuss

Another interpretation is that Voldemort and Harry
were equals in some
way on that night, and that can (and probably has)
change at anytime
afterwards at any scale. The prophecy *doesn't*
say they *meet* as
equals, and if they were to, by equal, it could
not be in every way
because of Harry's Power, friends, etc... The most
obvious aspect they
could be equal in is magical strength, but it
could be anything else.
And if one looks at the prophecy another way, they
need never be
equals at all.
You can twist the prophecy in a dozen different
ways. Heck, you can
even make a case that HBP threw the whole prophecy
out the window. Its
all a matter of personal interpertation.

Personally in canon I think the horcrux concept
ruined the prophecy.
Not there is no "power he knows not". Find
horcruxes, destroy them.
Nice power there Harry. :)

I think that Harry will need that "Power the dark lord
knows not" to take out the final piece of Tom's soul.
The other horcruxes will be destroyed by then, and it
will be up to Harry and tom to slug it out. That's the
point "the power he knows not" will come into play.

Not nice to make other authors out to be hang over cures!! But cute
none the less. Need a little less coffee when writing the
disclaimer. The only thing you haven't written if Ron dancing to
itsy-
bitsy spider with Aragog. By the way great chapter!! Hurry with the
next it gets awfully boring at nights with nothing good to read.

Be careful about what you say, or i am going to pester you until you
make hermione gain power and becomes harry's equal :p as long as ron
doesn't get too powerful (What worries me in the fic is that hermione
and co don't care about being good dueler).
Be patient grasshoppers. There are all sorts of things bubbling in our
cauldrons and dueling isn't all that important yet... All will be
revealed eventually. In the meantime, sit back, enjoy the ride.

What will they think? Canibals, you are! yes you are!

I love Chapter 12 of SoB. And finally, we get to see
Harry's plans for saving his friends. Maybe we can
have a Drunk!Harry combined with Angry!Harry? A crater
would look good somewhere in Britain.

It's good that Mr. Weasley wants to make things up
with his family. Molly... Well, the words I have for
her aren't fit for civilized converstion....

So, Dumbledore is after immortality, Ron is jealous,
Molly is greedy, Draco is good, voldemort is out for
blood and on the winning road....

Can't wait to see the explosion when things come to a
head.
