Re: LFS- amoral/evil Harry - FOUND!

FOUND IT! In my own defense, I have amassed a saved collection of +3,800 fanfics which sometimes makes searching through the text of mobi/epub files to be nearly impossible at times.

It's Harry Potter and the Dark Lord Sidious -
AU, time travel, and very dark. Harry/Luna, with bashing of all kinds, and a ton of major character deaths as they get revenge on everyone in the 'Potter conspiracy' who screwed over Harry.

Here are the itemized notes on it, for anyone interested in reading it (it's kind of brutal). Um, spoilers if anyone didn't want to read this?
..
...
..

Everyone screwed Harry over in the 'Potter Conspiracy'. Snape sent him a letter after Snape's death which detailed all, and Harry went back to replace his 11 year old self so that he can get revenge and change the future to something he likes, with Luna as his love/dark lady. Susan and Hannah are together romantically, Luna becomes minister, and Harry becomes chief of Wizengamot.

Sorting hat explodes after Harry's cursed it to not reveal what it learns; Dumbles had it subverted, sorted kids wrong and told him what's in their heads. Also spied via castle's portraits and ghosts.

Had Hermione torn apart and eaten alive by troll.

Hagrid was torn apart by Aragog, spiders swarmed quidditch game and injured many. Colin was incapacitated and died slowly, Pomfrey died quickly.

Ginny sent the basilisk on Luna; Harry killed it, defeated V, and left Ginny in the chamber to slowly starve. He set an Egyptian ward around her which would turn her blood to acid one cell at a time, and walked out.

Harry and Luna went after Sirius and "accidentally" agitated the plants in the greenhouse when their spells "missed". Purple-People Eater "got loose" and ate Sprout.

Set up cascade in great hall for Dennis- banner tugged by Malfoy caught fire from candles, magical action from staff creates a null field canceling all magic in the area, point counters fall off of wall and Ron shoves Dennis out of the way. He falls into a suit of armor which loses its axe, and the swinging axe decapitates him before embedding in the wall.

Pansy had her neck broken by Lupin when they sabotaged his wolfsbane and he went on a werewolf rampage. He was executed by the staff/students when they couldn't control him.

Tortured Tonks into insanity for her playing a 'friend' in the conspiracy- deliberately manipulated him by morphing into Tara McClay, muggleborn (or family of Weasleys, second time around) to lull him into friendship/more and then "die", leaving him turning to them in his grief. Cruciatus until her mind broke.

Bill killed by rampaging dragon during first task, Harry flew it around and crashed it into the stands.

Ron drowned in second task, Harry had merpeople as allies and they took him after Harry explained to Ron why he was going to die.

Moody starved in his trunk since Barty didn't let him out and Harry wasn't going to.

Greyback, other werewolves, killed by their own kind to clean up the rogues for Harry.

Parvati moved to Privet Drive to become Harry's love interest (plot like Tonks'). Harry corrals the dementor with two unicorn patroni and has it suck out her soul.

Had set a virus into the ward scheme at the Burrow, which will complete in two and some years. Molly dying by death eaters when the wards cascade and fail, Harry and Luna are listening to a muggle Christmas concert and they get to see in their heads what's happening.

Harry knocked out Sirius and portkeyed him to V's hideout, guaranteeing that he is tortured and killed, ministry battle takes place which Harry doesn't go to. Amelia, Fudge, and Percy killed in the fight.

McGonagall notices that Harry was out of bounds while Sirius was being portkeyed and catches on to what Harry has been doing. Confronts him, battles him, and Luna saves him by coming into room and disarming her. Harry casts imperious and makes her walk into forest to feed Aragog's clan.

Lucius and Narcissa killed by Harry's alter ego (Sidious) in retaliation for muggle attack. Killed at the ward line of the Parkinson property, Luna fires wolf mark into sky. Lucius's head is blasted apart and Narcissa is beheaded by Luna's scythe.

Harry and Luna manage to get Snape and Dumbles talking about his spying where Draco could overhear. Snape is branded traitor and tortured to death. His body is sent back to Hogwarts, explodes on the staff table, and severed head is mounted on a spring platform (like a jack in the box).

Neville overhears Harry and Luna discussing their plot. Confronts Luna, she beheads him with her scythe. He's the only innocent to die.

Draco kidnaps Harry and Luna from Hogsmeade, marches them to death eater ambush. Harry makes it out that Draco turned in a spy for their side, that Snape was working for V all along and Draco was an idiot. Draco killed by Bellatrix. Fight ensues, Harry and Luna kill Bellatrix, Avery, Dolohov, Goyle, and Crabbe (Draco's two bookends).

Set up for V to ambush Hogwarts, right into a setup by Harry's army (what used to the DA in the last life). Is killed and Harry dissembles his remains under the ocean. His death eaters are all killed by Harry's army "the study group" before V is killed.

Dumbledore wants to leash Harry, will tell ministry that he's evil and has to be controlled by Dumbles. Harry and Luna bring their allies (acromantula, werewolves, centaurs, and heliopaths), disarm Dumbles after he threatens to kill Luna (to keep Harry "in line"), and let the creatures kill him.

Re: LFS- amoral/evil Harry

No, it's not Shatter or Guy Fawkes. This is an older one, I think, and definitely completed. Think Harry went back in time somehow, when he discovered who all was part of the conspiracy, and is getting revenge. It was definitely a werewolf rampage, and I think Pansy may have been the one killed? The rest of the teachers kill werewolf!Lupin and stop him from doing more damage

Re: LFS- amoral/evil Harry

It doesn't have Lupin, but fits the theme. I'll see if ai can find the one you are looking for, later.

Re: LFS- amoral/evil Harry

That sort of sounds like shatter by herald of dreams. The part about lupin's wolfsbane potion is in chapter 12.

LFS- amoral/evil Harry

Don't remember most of it, only that everyone screwed over Harry and he was getting even. He/they messed with Lupin's wolfsbane potion so it wouldn't work, then lamented that he's a pathetic werewolf since his rampage only managed to hurt/kill one person. Ring any bells?

Re: so, with harry raised by godzilla, I am wondering..?

You know, it's been long enough that I don't remember. I've been buying ebooks for years from a few places that offer limited-time deals, such as HumbleBundle and StoryBundle, and it may have been one of them. Then again, it may not.

Come to think of it, I'd like to find the Travis McGee stories in ebook format. I read most, if not all of them, in either the paperback or hardback collections. I gave most of them to my Dad, and I don't remember seeing them when I took care of his estate, so I presume he got rid of them.

Having spent much of the last several hours enjoying this work profoundly, I must agree! I mean with a line like...
"Hi, I'm Harry, and I'll be your assassin tonight."
what's not to love?
Seriously, I know absolutely nothing about the destroyer, making this just a very funny deeply creative bit of storytelling.
Thanks for the rec.

I wouldn't mind knowing that myself.

Re: so, with harry raised by godzilla, I am wondering..?

Actually, in Little Guy, Harry gives Snape a cauldron full of 'Liquid Luck'.

Snape trips while carrying it back to his lab and ends up being soaked in it and having his skin turn golden and permanently infused with the liquid luck.
Anything he tries turns out perfect which negates his ability to experiment and create new potions.

Yes, and teaches Snape to make them that way as well.

Clell tends to be funny regardless. I'm just particularly fond of Sun Source. And not just for having the nerve to combine HP with The Destroyer. :)

_._,_._,_

I totally know that sun source is awesome. I loved all the books and the movie was pretty good considering it was pretty low budget

Clell has an amazing grasp of the crossover canons he plays with, I love his stuff because they tend to be very faithful in tone to the source material.

Including some I haven't read! Thanks!!

Re: so, with harry raised by godzilla, I am wondering..?

I enjoyed the movie. I've read several of the books, mostly back in the 1970s when I was picking up the paperbacks. I did manage to grab all of the books in EPUB format a few years ago, but I've only reread the first two so far.

"Harry Potter and the Sun Source" is one of my all-time favorite stories, and Clell is one of my favorite authors. It's not a story that fits the current topic, but I really like "Hiding in Plain Sight."
