I am running OSX v11.1 and the FanFictionDownloader refuses to work. No matter how many chapters the file contains, it only tries to process one and doesn't even do that correctly. :(

I personally had someone using one of my tools comparatively, try this step. While it failed for them, it might still work for you.
Granted Cloudflare might tag your ip address as a possible threat as well, so that is something to consider.

I bought mine back in 2010, so it might have the CPU that is necessary.

Hi,

I have bad news for the XP users out there: it is impossible to build a version that's running on XP.

I was able to get 0.9.1 running (before the ff.net captcha problem) but of course it's not usable for ff.net.

The implementation that was required to work with the ff.net captchas is simply to modern and can't be compiled for XP.

But it was nice seeing a virtual machine with XP again, good memories.... Especially when I remembered that an installation of XP back then took more than an hour and now it was done in less than 10 minutes - finding the CD took longer than that.

Maybe you could take a look at the webversion? If that's enough for you you could use that instead? I hope to get it running again by tomorrow evening - currently i'm uploading 0.9.3 to the server.
