Re: LFS- amoral/evil Harry

No, it's not Shatter or Guy Fawkes. This is an older one, I think, and definitely completed. Think Harry went back in time somehow, when he discovered who all was part of the conspiracy, and is getting revenge. It was definitely a werewolf rampage, and I think Pansy may have been the one killed? The rest of the teachers kill werewolf!Lupin and stop him from doing more damage

Re: LFS- amoral/evil Harry

It doesn't have Lupin, but fits the theme. I'll see if ai can find the one you are looking for, later.

Re: LFS- amoral/evil Harry

That sort of sounds like shatter by herald of dreams. The part about lupin's wolfsbane potion is in chapter 12.

LFS- amoral/evil Harry

Don't remember most of it, only that everyone screwed over Harry and he was getting even. He/they messed with Lupin's wolfsbane potion so it wouldn't work, then lamented that he's a pathetic werewolf since his rampage only managed to hurt/kill one person. Ring any bells?

Re: so, with harry raised by godzilla, I am wondering..?

You know, it's been long enough that I don't remember. I've been buying ebooks for years from a few places that offer limited-time deals, such as HumbleBundle and StoryBundle, and it may have been one of them. Then again, it may not.

Come to think of it, I'd like to find the Travis McGee stories in ebook format. I read most, if not all of them, in either the paperback or hardback collections. I gave most of them to my Dad, and I don't remember seeing them when I took care of his estate, so I presume he got rid of them.

Having spent much of the last several hours enjoying this work profoundly, I must agree! I mean with a line like...
"Hi, I'm Harry, and I'll be your assassin tonight."
what's not to love?
Seriously, I know absolutely nothing about the destroyer, making this just a very funny deeply creative bit of storytelling.
Thanks for the rec.

I wouldn't mind knowing that myself.

Re: so, with harry raised by godzilla, I am wondering..?

Actually, in Little Guy, Harry gives Snape a cauldron full of 'Liquid Luck'.

Snape trips while carrying it back to his lab and ends up being soaked in it and having his skin turn golden and permanently infused with the liquid luck.
Anything he tries turns out perfect which negates his ability to experiment and create new potions.

Yes, and teaches Snape to make them that way as well.

Clell tends to be funny regardless. I'm just particularly fond of Sun Source. And not just for having the nerve to combine HP with The Destroyer. :)

_._,_._,_

I totally know that sun source is awesome. I loved all the books and the movie was pretty good considering it was pretty low budget

Clell has an amazing grasp of the crossover canons he plays with, I love his stuff because they tend to be very faithful in tone to the source material.

Including some I haven't read! Thanks!!

Re: so, with harry raised by godzilla, I am wondering..?

I enjoyed the movie. I've read several of the books, mostly back in the 1970s when I was picking up the paperbacks. I did manage to grab all of the books in EPUB format a few years ago, but I've only reread the first two so far.

"Harry Potter and the Sun Source" is one of my all-time favorite stories, and Clell is one of my favorite authors. It's not a story that fits the current topic, but I really like "Hiding in Plain Sight."

Looks interesting, I tried a craft beer called Red Squirrell which is brewed on Arran, I didn't particularly like it, there a few nice ones brewed by the Inveralmond Brewery.

My favorite HP raised by someone else Clell story is Harry Potter and the Sun Source. It’s hilarious.
It’s HP/Destroyer . I had never heard of the Destroyer. I didn’t need to to understand the story. It’s hilarious.
