There was an old version that worked on XP, but it hasn't worked on XP or Vista in more than 5 years and the old version doesn't work on most sites anymore because it didn't handle HTTPS (IIRC). In any case I'm 100% certain the old XP-compatible version doesn't work on fanfiction.net because of an update made at least 4 years ago.
