Actually, every time I try to download less than a whole story using the FanFictionDownloader it freezes and closes on me. I have had some of the issues that have been discussed on this topic and I just open each story and double check if anything is missing before I start the next story downloading. In the format that I download into if it skips something it is a whole chapter or multiple whole chapters, but for some reason it won't skip the Chapter title so as a scroll it will read? Chapter x: whatever the chapter title is? Chapter y: whatever the chapter title is part 2 Chapter z: whatever the chapter title is part 3 without any chapter text if it skipped anything.

There is a box under the one that says
"Story link" that says "Download chapter." If you put in the story
link, then click "Check", you can edit the box to only download a
limited number of chapters. I haven't tried that, but I will.
