STILL AVAILABLE - F2 FEMALE - RAMONA, CA

Manyara is a spayed 11year old F2 Savannah female, that has been kept
almost all her life as a "cattery cat" where this meant being outside in
a caged enclosure. Recent weeks have meant a more indoor lifestyle and
Manyara is reported to have adapted easily and is also reported to be
more approachable and pettable.

Manyara was kept as a breeding female in an outdoor enclosure from
kittenhood, with access to an indoor room. As such, Manyara has never
lived as an indoor housepet. We believe that with time she will happily
adapt to a cushy pet lifestyle, but it requires understanding and
patience for her to come to enjoy being a pet.

Manyara's owner (Callmac Cattery) died and she then lived with the son
and his wife in similar conditions. Both the original owner and the son
were close to Manyara and she was affectionate with him but she did not
bond at all with his wife. The son has now passed and the wife feels
that Manyara would do better in a home that understands her needs and
will work on a bond.

Manyara was used to living among other cats and was very friendly and
happy that way, so we feel that with an appropriate patient introduction
she would be fine in a home with other cats. She has met dogs but
avoided contact, but has not interacted with children. She is not up to
date with vaccinations.

Although originally the owner reported that Manyara was aloof with her,
in the past weeks she brought Manyara into the cattery building and has
found that she adapted nicely to indoor living and has actually been
allowing her to approach and pet her. This really does give an
indication that with a properly understanding and patient home, Manyara
will do really well.

We feel that Manyara is a project, she needs to learn to be a pet. We
feel that patience and love will be rewarded. If you feel that Manyara
would be a good fit for your home, please email info@... and
tell us your location and give a description of your household and why
it would be great for Manyara.
Manyara is not available for shipping, and her adoption fee is $200.

AVAILABLE: FEMALE SAVANNAH - ANAHEIM, CA

开云体育

BooBoo is a ~2 year old spayed female Savannah (we estimate ~F4) abandoned by a family in Simi Valley, CA recently, she is currently being fostered in Anaheim.

Because she was not surrendered by her owner our information about BooBoo is limited to what little the neighbor of the family knew and what the foster has observed in the days since she's had BooBoo. Boo apparently lived with? a family with a number of small children, she also lived with two kittens (not related but younger than her). In her foster home, she's been kept in a room by herself of course but has been amazingly gentle and friendly from the start. The morning after she arrived, she climbed into the foster's lap. She went to the vet and was completely sweet and easily examined. She has had her vaccinations updated and her FIV/FeLV test is pending. She is now microchipped and will be registered to the new owner (with SV Rescue to remain alternate contact for life). She shows no indications of litterbox issues nor any behavioral issues.

We feel that BooBoo now deserves a lot of love and being treasured. She did not deserve being abandoned and deserves to be spoiled rotten by someone. If you think that someone is you, please email info@... and tell us about your household and why BooBoo would be a great fit for your home. Her adoption fee is $200.

RESOLVED - F4 female - Kira - Anchorage, AK

Thank you to all the kind offers of a home for Kira, after some delays in transport, the owner has found a solution for the living situation so that Kira will be staying there for now. We apologize for any disappointment, which is of course beyond our control.

Kira was purchased by the son for his father, and was an adored pet for 4 years. She is reported to be a wonderful and social Savannah, friendly and affectionate with her family although she does take a little time to warm up to strangers like many cats do. She has not lived with other cats or dogs, but she has been around children from 3 years and older. she is said to play gently so we would not have any concerns placing in a home with children. The only issue might be a noise factor as of course she is used to living with just an elderly man.

BONDED F2 and F3 MALES AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AS A PAIR,

Lux (F2) and Bones (F3) are a very BONDED pair of 8 year old Neutered Savannah boys, and they MUST be placed together. Their ideal furrever home has no other pets and no children. They lived their whole lives with a family that had children, but they were rehomed in August to another family due to their previous home having commitments that took them away from Lux and Bones too often. They have been acting out in the current family situation and the previous owner feels they are being overstimulated in this high activity home. They have been squabbling with the resident cat and marking territory (in the form of spraying, inappropriate urination and defecation). So we are looking for a spacious but quiet home that has plenty of space for both boys to roam and run. And lots of time to give Lux the play time he needs, and Bones the cuddle time he enjoys (once he gets to know you). These boys have no food or diet problems and currently eat Fromm dry food supplemented with raw chicken. They also enjoy meat of any kind as a treat. In true Savannah fashion, they like to surf the counters and sleep on the human beds.
?
Lux is an F2 Savannah who is 8 years young; neutered and has no known health issues. He is friendly to family and visitors, loves to talk and can be affectionate. He loves to pounce on and play with a variety of toys, he has never met one he doesn’t like! ?He also likes to spend his time in the window watching the great outdoors. He would LOVE a cat safe secure outdoor area to explore; otherwise Lux will likely be a door darter. A cat-safe outdoor enclosure, catio or enclosed patio or yard with roof; porch or sunroom would be perfect for Lux so he can enjoy the outdoors in a safer environment which may curb some of his door darting tendencies! He is overwhelmed outside in the open so walking him on a harness is not ideal, at least until he got used to it. He may very well enjoy walks in a pet stroller though. Lux has a wonderful purrsonality and is a lot of fun; he just needs lots of room and stimulation to bring out his best side.
?
Bones is an F3 Savannah who is 8 years young; neutered and has no known health issues. Bones came to his new home front-declawed. We will NOT permit any discussion, comments or debate about this, period. (Doing so may get you banned) He is friendly with family and tolerant of visitors, loves to talk and can be a very affectionate boy once he gets to know you. He is more aloof and fearful than Lux. He is not much for playing with toys, he prefers to cuddle next to you. He gets very jealous when other cats are taking his attention, but Lux really seems to understand him and gives him space when he is getting his love.
?
Lux and Bones are currently living with another cat, and they are not too sure they are happy with this arrangement and therefore they are acting out. This is part of the reason for their rehoming. So at this time we are looking for a home that has NO other pets. These two boys will do everything together, eat, sleep, groom, etc. Another cat seems to upset this mix and they are telling us they are MUCH happier for it to be just the two of them with their humans.
Adoption fee for Lux and Bones is $300 (total for both cats).
At this time shipping is not available for Lux and Bones. However they travel well in the car and their current mom is willing to drive to meet halfway with their purrfect new furrever family, up to 8 hours. They are currently located in Middleton, Wisconsin.

F5 MALE AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION,
ROCKY RIVER, OHIO

Django is an almost 3 year old, F5 male from Heavenly Hybrids Cattery in KY. He is up for adoption due to his owner having to move abruptly and not being allowed to keep him where he is now living.
Django is energetic and curious, everything a young Savannah boy should be! He loves to play and receive attention on his terms. He also enjoys exploring the outdoors in a controlled environment such as an outdoor enclosure. Once you earn his trust, he reportedly loves to spend time around his people although is not much of a lap cat.
Django has very limited experience with other animals and no experience with children. Other pets can be considered on a case by case basis, however, in his best interest, we are only considering children ages 10+.
We are looking for a home that is experienced with high energy cat breeds. Potential homes must have experience acclimating adult cats to a new home and its residents, Interested homes should explain their experience and plan of action to us so that we know that you are prepared for Django to be stressed by this huge change in his life. We will need to know that you know how to handle certain behaviors including everything from hiding to aggressive posturing. Due to time constraints he is not available to be shipped and we can only consider homes within driving distance, that are available to travel to pick him up as early as this week.
If you feel you would be Django's perfect forever home, please email us at

Please include a description and the location of your home. Also include details about your experience and ability to help Django through this big change in his life.

STILL AVAILABLE - GOLDIE - F2 SAVANNAH FEMALE - KENT, WA

开云体育

Goldie is a pretty 4 year old F2 spayed Savannah female currently fostered in Kent, WA.
You can see her posts previously... in the weeks she has been in foster care she has blossomed as you might expect. She has shown a decided preference for the man in the house.
When Goldie was surrendered it was for litterbox issues, which disappeared with a change of litter (sometimes it is THAT easy!), but she had also been reported to not get along with other cats. Her foster reports her as exhibiting fear-based aggression and overstimulation. The aggression is strongest towards other cats and small dogs, hence we do think Goldie would do best in an only cat home and only introduced to a larger dog (slowly and thoughtfully). She would not be suitable in a home with children due to this behavior.
We would want a potential home to be able to describe to us how they would deal with introducing Goldie to their home to minimize her behavior and help her feel secure. A new home must be willing to understand that the first few weeks could be quite rocky although we do think that having this stable positive fostering experience should help Goldie.
The foster home is not willing to ship Goldie, the possibility remains for a home to plan to fly into Seattle airport and carry her back in cabin, or to drive to pick up. Alternatively, if the home was further South (OR or CA).
Goldie will be available for an adoption fee of $200, if you think your home would be suitable, please email info@... and tell us about your home and location.

---In SV-Rescue@..., <brigitte@...> wrote :

Zero is a personable and affectionate 7year old F6 Savannah neutered male from Wild Trax Bengals (the breeder has declined to take him back due to personal circumstances).

The ideal home for Zero would be an only cat home where he got all the human attention for himself. Although he has lived with other cats in the past, his recent few years have involved sudden transitions in homes with incorrect introductions leading to drama and conflict with other cats. Hence any move to a home with other cats would have to be prepared for a very slow and patient introduction. We feel the better option for him would be an only cat home. He has been great friends with a larger dog in the past.

Zero comes with a recent health check, up to date on vaccines and a microchip which will be transferred. Zero is currently located in Macomb, IL.

Zero is known to be very affectionate with his humans, he does not enjoy being picked up but enjoys hanging out on a lap and snuggling in bed. He needs to be around people! He is not a large cat being a later generation Savannah but he is smart and funny just like a Savannah should be!

If you think your home is right for Zero, please email info@... with your location and a description of your household and why Zero would fit in perfectly there!

***UPDATE, LEXUS IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE!*** FEMALE F3 IN VIRGINIA

Lexus has been placed in a foster-to-adopt situation, with no other kitties or young children.

Thank you everyone who applied for her, we think this is the best match.

Sweet Lexus is unfortunately having her power cut off this week, so needs placement quickly.

Due to the fact that she didn't get along with the small children in the home, she went to live at the office/warehouse where her dad owned the business. Her dad is unfortunately now losing the business, but due to concerns with the young kids, she's not allowed to come home when the power is cut.

Lexus, as her name implies, is used to living life differently. At 10 years young, she's used to being the queen of the castle, and isn't interested in that changing. She didn't do well in the past with small children, but we think older kids would be OK if they respect her space. She only ever met another cat once, but that didn't go well either. If you have another cat and are interested, he should be male, and you should be prepared for up to a year of work to get them to coexist peacefully. She's set in her princess lifestyle, and she will take awhile to learn kitty social skills. Dogs may be considered if they're calm around cats.

Lexus does love her humans, and will follow you around, telling you about her day. She can be a lap cat at times, on her terms, and in small doses. We think she'd do best in a home with plenty of time to work with her. She may even turn into a very sweet cat once she gets more constant human interaction. She's been left alone a lot recently, and so may have lost a little trust in humans :(

Princess Lexus just needs a little love and TLC, but on her terms of course! If you think you would be a good match for Lexus, send your location and a description of your home to info@....

She needs placement rather quickly, so temporary fosters will be considered if you have a space she can call her own.

***FOSTER (OR FOSTER-TO-ADOPT) F3 MALE, 11YRS - PROCTORVILLE OHIO***

Do you need a little 'Mombo' in your life? Mombo is an easy going guy who is great with dogs, cats, and even young children! He's just too good to be true!! But there is a slight catch---

This handsome gentlemen may have some medical issues which need addressed before he is ready for a forever home, and the foster gets first dibs!?

He tested positive for the Calcivirus, which isn't normally a problem for most cats. According to our vet, most cats fight the virus off on their own. However, it can be an issue for those older or immunocompromised kitties. He may not even show symptoms from it, and it's not highly contagious to other cats if they don't share a litterbox. The foster must still have a room for quarantine until he fights it off, so we can have him retested after a few weeks.?

He also has food allergies, so a high quality food is a requirement for him. Reportedly, there were a couple accidents associated with foods he couldn't tolerate.?

As an 11 year old cat, he likely could have another 10 years with his new family! His calm disposition would make him a great addition to any home. However, you must be prepared for a couple trips to the vet with him while we sort out his medical issues. You must also be able to maintain a strict quarantine period, so we can make sure he is at his best for placement.

If you think you might be the perfect home for Mombo, please send your location, and a description of your home to info@.... At this time, he is not available for shipping.

ADOPTED - 3YO F5 MALE - LAS VEGAS, NV

Antonio has gone to his new home now, thank you so much to the great homes that offered!

---In SV-Rescue@..., <brigitte@...> wrote :

Antonio is a handsome 3 year old F5 neutered Savannah male, currently located in North Las Vegas, NV. He comes from the now defunct cattery, The Spotted Meow, who were not contactable.

Antonio is reported to have mild asthma, the owner says that when he is suffering attacks (in spring and winter) she uses homeopathic drops in his food that control this. He is also reported to play too rough for his sister Savannah and it is this that has been most problematic in the house. The owner also states that he won't listen to her but behaves well for her husband. She reports that occasionally he will mark when she does not "give him what he wants". This most often occurs when her husband is traveling for work.

His owner reports him as a very verbal, smart, lovable kitty who plays catch and has been leash trained. He does enjoy outings in the yard so a home with an enclosure or time to take on walks would probably be most suitable. Antonio has not been around children nor dogs to know how he would react. Given his rough play tendencies I would probably not recommend Antonio with small children but he is playful hence older children would probably find him very fun. He most likely can be introduced to dogs with a proper thoughtful introduction. In terms of other cats, I think it would greatly depend on personality as Antonio is reported to be roughly playful with his sister who is smaller and reactive.

Generation:? F5

Age: 3 Years

Sex: Neutered

Location: North Las Vegas, NV

Shipping: Not Available.? If not available this is not negotiable, it is not dependent onoffering to pay for this, it is simply not an option. Flying in and carrying back in cabin is an option though!

Pets: Suitable with other pets/Unknown

Behavioral/Health issues disclosed? Asthma, some marking (although recent behavior and possibly very easily resolved).
