Its time to replace our 4D AGM house batteries.? For how we use the boat AGMs are fine and I don't want to switch to Li.
Would anyone have recommendations for a specific manufacturer?? Many members of our club are using Interstate Marine AGMs and seem satisfied.
Second question I see? some manufacturers have switched to L lug terminals.? They seem awkward to connect.? My current battery has a bolt that screws right into the battery. Are there adaptors for the L lug terminals?

I suggest you look into the Victron Super AGM's.? I put 3 of the 125
AH ones in a couple years ago & so far so good.
They pack in more AH for their size and claim a better discharge
tolerance.? Installed prior to a Newfoundland trip where we,
unfortunately, did not get to fully test them as we had a lot of
motoring.
You might fit their 230AH ones.
3 of the 125AH were $1175 del'd January 2023
Likewise Li does not make sense for my use.

I¡¯m finally getting around to Rebedding my fixed port. ?Because I will probably need to rebed the other three in the not too distant future, I decided to purchase my own roll of CRL Glazing Vinyl. ?Thanks Phil and Andy for your kind offers.
I can verify it¡¯s a tedious job, and I appreciate everyone¡¯s helpful advice.

I have a Fairclough cover I've used for my S28II and all the stuff you need to use it, bought in 2016. It still has years of life but it's too much for me to handle now. It's at Savin Haill Yacht Club, 400 Morrissey Blvd, Dorechester MA. Let me know off list if you'd like to come get it. It would work with a mark I as well. In pic it's the one to the left. I've got the same tray that you were talking about.? Not sure what the original purpose was for it, but it holds a sponge for quick cleanups or drying out the bilge.

As far as getting in the back lazarette, at 6'1" and 235 lb. It's tight.? I only go in when absolutely necessary.? What I do to reach the handles normally is go upside down with my legs and ass hanging out of the lazarette.? It serves two functions, I can reach the handles and if someone walks by they can have a good laugh.
Well, lo and behold - we were not on it. I added Deep Blew (formerly Re:Pete, formerly Shady Lady) to the list. Seems we are second oldest S-28 at hull #13, with only #11 on the list being older. And she is nearby Rock Hall, as well.? ?
