Re: Boarding Ladder
Yikes! $409 for a step? I have a boarding step made from a 6¡± x 16¡± piece of oak suspended by 5/16¡± line. I added a piece of vinyl weather stripping on the edge that sits against the hull and

Re: Boarding Ladder
I have one, it's nice because it's very sturdy and easy to climb on. Its significant, you need to take it down under sail and stow, its weighty and is not super quick like a transom ladder. If you're

Re: Raymarine GA-200 not appearing as data source

Re: Raymarine GA-200 not appearing as data source
Carter, the AIS700 doesn't get its power from the N2K connection but a separate power connector.? Are you sure it's getting power? The GA200, as you noted, is just an passive antenna and will never

Re: Raymarine GA-200 not appearing as data source
The GA200 is a passive antenna, and is therefore not a Seatalkng device. It just presents a stronger RF signal to the AIS than the AIS internal antenna. The fact that the AIS-700 doesn't show as an

Re: Raymarine GA-200 not appearing as data source
Hi, Randy, I also had the Vesper XP8000 on my S38 and the Simrad MFD did show it as a source. In fact I remember choosing it as my GPS data source. But now I'm immersed in the Raymarine multiverse and

Carter, ON my system with a Vaspar ais and dedicated gps working with an ES7. The dedicated gps does show up as an alternative gps for the MFD. I don¡¯t have it function as such. I use the internal.
