Re: Two Days In And Almost Ready To Sell It
If you are using the HAMVOIP version of allstar the wifi drivers are built in. All you need to do is boot from the SD card and answer all the questions. You need a monitor, keyboard and mouse at

Re: Using DCS instead of CTCSS
#CTCSS_CDCSS
You enter a different code for CDCSS than you do for CTCSS when you program SHARI. The following is copied (and slightly corrected for English) from the SA-818 Programming Manual which can be

Using DCS instead of CTCSS

Re: Two Days In And Almost Ready To Sell It
Allstar obtains the correct time from the internet so the only reason I know that the clock could be wrong is if you are not connected to the internet.? Are you using a wired connection? To get to

Two Days In And Almost Ready To Sell It
How do I get to a prompt to edit files? I have to figure out how to get the tones to decode and how to set the clock somehow. It won't decode DTMF 3 from any of my radios so I haven't been able to

Re: SD Card

I agree that the SHARI setup procedure should not say " 16 GB required" and will change that.? I found a recent recommendation dated March 28, 2020 ?by Doug, WA3DSP for SD cards? in the HamVOIP

I propose a change to the document 'SHARI Allstar Node Setup and Configuration Guide'.? on page 2 the required hardware list suggests a SD Card 16G or larger.? this should be changed to 4G required

Re: Did I Buy the Wrong Units?
#SHARI_PiXX_Differences
No supply issues as far as SHARI is concerned.? Both the Pi3 and the Pi4 supply 1.2 amps max on the USB ports.? SHARI only needs about 500 mA in TX mode.

Node 51501 - status unavailable
What does it mean if the SHARI web page cannot find status information about my node?? The node itself seems to be connecting and otherwise functioning properly? Thanks & 73, Ralph AA8RK

Re: Did I Buy the Wrong Units?
