That idea has a lot of merit. :-)

My understanding is the SHARI's are the same. The
only difference is the USB ports are flipped so the SHARI is
right side up for the PI you are using without blocking?the
Ethernet port.
If it was me, I would?buy a PI3 as they are cheaper?now,
pull less power, and run cooler by swapping your already
created SD card from the PI4 into it and run the system on the
PI3. Use the PI4 for XLX or DVSwitch as its overkill for
allstar.

I actually didn't order
anything. I know that sounds weird. I wrote
about ordering one back in February, Shari replied to my
message, and I
either didn't receive it or accidentally deleted it. I wrote a
message
to this list asking about how to find out my position on the
list for
nodes. I got a reply telling me about the February message,
also saying
I could be invoiced for what I wanted on that very day. I
received the
invoice, paid it, got the nodes shortly thereafter, installed
and tested
them, and went on my merry way. I really didn't know there
were two, one
for each Pi. Turns out, functionally anyway, it doesn't appear
to
matter, but if there's something about the units for the 4
that's
different than the one for the 3 and I should really have
those, I have
friends who are interested in taking the 3's off my hands
almost
immediately, and I'll just get the right ones.purchase the
4's.
