all you have to do is nano echolink.conf file and change the settings. make sure you are set for a -L from echolink and you will have a node number for it. yes there are instructions.

1630 ft, inside a room that has stucco on the outside of the building. I could put an antenna right in from of the window, or possibly outside. -- At the moment-- there are no tones on the repeater.

It should not need to worry about the offset. It goes directly into the repeater without going over the air at that point. As to tones, I suspect that the Shari would mute them. *Mark West*
