1630 ft, inside a room that has stucco on the outside of the building. I could put an antenna right in from of the window, or possibly outside. -- At the moment-- there are no tones on the repeater.

In theory, yes, but one has to question whether that's advisable.? There's a few factors to consider: 1.? Are you close enough to the repeater for it to work? 2.? Is the repeater properly

It should not need to worry about the offset. It goes directly into the repeater without going over the air at that point. As to tones, I suspect that the Shari would mute them. *Mark West*
