Re: Two Days In And Almost Ready To Sell It
Allstar obtains the correct time from the internet so the only reason I know that the clock could be wrong is if you are not connected to the internet.? Are you using a wired connection? To get to

Two Days In And Almost Ready To Sell It
How do I get to a prompt to edit files? I have to figure out how to get the tones to decode and how to set the clock somehow. It won't decode DTMF 3 from any of my radios so I haven't been able to

Re: SD Card #construction #Allstar_Setup
I agree that the SHARI setup procedure should not say " 16 GB required" and will change that.? I found a recent recommendation dated March 28, 2020 ?by Doug, WA3DSP for SD cards? in the HamVOIP

SD Card #construction #Allstar_Setup
I propose a change to the document 'SHARI Allstar Node Setup and Configuration Guide'.? on page 2 the required hardware list suggests a SD Card 16G or larger.? this should be changed to 4G required

Re: Node 51501 - status unavailable
All of Allstar is messed up right now. The nodes are connecting and if you have a secondary Hamvoip registration then node information os somewhat displaying. NNX nodes are not even listed are now. I

Re: Did I Buy the Wrong Units? #SHARI_PiXX_Differences
No supply issues as far as SHARI is concerned.? Both the Pi3 and the Pi4 supply 1.2 amps max on the USB ports.? SHARI only needs about 500 mA in TX mode.

Node 51501 - status unavailable
What does it mean if the SHARI web page cannot find status information about my node?? The node itself seems to be connecting and otherwise functioning properly? Thanks & 73, Ralph AA8RK

Re: Did I Buy the Wrong Units? #SHARI_PiXX_Differences
Hi Darrell, Are there supply issues with either the PI3 or PI4? What are the advantages of the Pi4 over the Pi3? Thanks, Ralph AA8RK

Re: Did I Buy the Wrong Units? #SHARI_PiXX_Differences
Electrically, at the USB interface, the Pi3 and? the Pi4 are identical. The only difference is the location of the USB ports to accommodate the new location of the USB ports in the Pi4.? If you plug

That idea has a lot of merit. :-)

Re: Did I Buy the Wrong Units? #SHARI_PiXX_Differences
My understanding is the SHARI's are the same. The only difference is the USB ports are flipped so the SHARI is right side up for the PI you are using without blocking the Ethernet port. If it was me,

Re: Did I Buy the Wrong Units? #SHARI_PiXX_Differences
I actually didn't order anything. I know that sounds weird. I wrote about ordering one back in February, Shari replied to my message, and I either didn't receive it or accidentally deleted it. I wrote

Did I Buy the Wrong Units? #SHARI_PiXX_Differences
I bought, and am very happy with, two pre-built nodes, one each for VHf and UHF, and they appear to be specifically for the Pi 3. I own a Pi 4. While both units work perfectly, did I buy the wrong

Neil, I did some poking around in allstar (HAMVOIP version) and found these two files. This is from a allstar node that has a working SHARI attached. Maybe you can compare to your files and see if the
