Yes..?

I have it set at 2

When i connect to a node and my node goes TX it stays keyed till time out.

I have an idea as to what was causing it, but later confirmed with other test.

Havent tried that, but i dont think it would as connecting to another node is not possible.

We have a local repeater on that frequency (or very close) and use 436Mhz as I have no garage doors in the area..

Yes i use tones in and out.?

after much testing i have found that when I install the broadcastify it causes my SA818 to go into transmit and not go out till the timer shuts it off but next transmision does it again. I am going to have to look into the settings and see what and settings i have wrong as i am still using v2-3-4. but without putting breadcastafy on it, works like normal.
Thanks

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýThe op was speaking of RAM in this case, not storage. You can run HamVoIP on an 8GB card just fine. It will only use 4GB of that space no matter how large the card is, unless you manually expand the file system. On 8/23/2024 8:58 AM, Scott, KB3JQQ via

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýEven though HamVoip says it needs 4GB, a 4GB card only hasabout 3.7GB, so you need to use an 8GB minimum. On 2024-08-23 08:45, Patrick Perdue

Even a 512MB rPi 3 model A Plus running HamVoIP has plenty of memory free if you are just using it as a single user radio node, and not doing anything extravagant.8GB is definitely a waste in that context. If you use HamVoIP, that distribution is 32 bit, so half of that memory can¡¯t even be addressed. Sent from my zippo On Aug 23, 2024, at 07:54, Dennis via groups.io <dczajkowski@...> wrote:

Good Evening?
?
I¡¯m first would say I¡¯m a newbie to Allstar and I¡¯m looking for help with understanding a few items.
1) Am I correct the Shari Pi4U would plug into a USB port on my Raspberry Pi?
2) Once I have the image from the link Steve provided me, I would be able to access the Shari with my HT?

AutoWiFi hotspot mod
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýI have put together a script and files that will enable an auto-wifi-hotspot on the ASL3 image. ? If no network is present, it will create an access point with the name ASL3_{MAC_ADDRESS}. ? When you connect to it, it uses the sing-in feature to redirect you to the wifi sign on page where it scans nearby wifi. ? Pick your WiFi and give it your password and then select Save and Reboot and it will reboot and be connected to your network. ? You can look at the git repository here:? ? The README.ME outlines the steps to get it going. ? ? Thanks, ? -Michael N5ZR ? |

Re: Key up's?
I found that when i installed Broadcastify it caused issues. I have had to reformat the SD card and start over.
i just found this out. i am not sure what is causing yours, but you might look at the way you have SA818 prog setup,?
as well as the simple usb manager, i had issues because i had mine set up wrong. if you know someone that has one,
look at their setup and program your same way.
?
hope that helps.

Ways to order a SHARI
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHello Steve,Is PayPal the only method of payment? Reason I¡¯m asking is our PayPal account was compromised and we quit PayPal a few years back. Otherwise I will need to check with our kids. 73¡¯²õ Dennis KD9ULM On Aug 8, 2024, at 8:40?AM, Dennis Czajkowski <dczajkowski@...> wrote:
