COS LED lit up when I keyed up the node.

I changed mine to linkunkeyct = ct3
Now I have a low pitch tone that no longer rips my ears.
You get the original tone if you kerchunk and you're not connected.

Glad to hear that your node is working now. Now, my node is broken, and it’s not detecting any transmit audio from my Yaesu FT-5D. I think I’ll have to start again with a new image and configure it to my screenshots of a working node.

SHARI PiXX working with "usb" instead of "usbinvert" for COSFROM is very strange.? Are you referring to CTCSSFROM instead of COSFROM.? Have you looked at simpleusb.conf to see if it set to "usb" there???

You need to enable pre-emphasis/deemphasis.? You can do this in the SA818 or in simple USB.? You also need the PLfilter(simpleusb) or thehigh pass filter (SA818) enabled to filter out the CTCSS tone.

I prefer to do the filtering in the SA818.? Here are the settings I am using:
