Shari PI3V attenuation on receive
Is there a program I can use to adjust the receive attenuation of the radio?

Is your hotspot close to your node so you are receiving a strong WiFi signal.? The all metal Unistorm case will attenute the WiFI signal some.? It should be fine if you are close to your hotspot because the case is leaky because there is not metal to metal contact at the seams due to the black powdercoat paint being non-conductive.
Also, can you try using a 5 GHz WiFi connection?

Just on WiFi. It has been pointed out that my phone company may be using double NAT. But I have been able to use the phone hotspot on other Shari nodes without any problems. I've got an original Pi3V and PiHatU and they both work fine. I've never been able to get the PiHat (Unistorm Case), to work right. I have a 10-30% packet loss, and I have been informed that you won't be able to hold up a connection with losses like that. And that is the problem, I can't stay connected. It's pretty much aggravated me to the point of shutting down all 7 of my nodes and giving up on Allstar.??

I've been fighting with this for a few months. If I run a command to connect, it says that I am already connected. But the node isn't sending/recieving any audio from my other nodes. It doesn't show up in the list of nodes in Supermon or the bubble chart. But it thinks it's still connected. Sometimes the node will reconnect by itself, but when it does, it disconnects again at random.?

Excellent.? I am not a fan of the arch linux part of hamvoip, but the rest makes it an easy solution.? Especially with the DAHDI drivers being a pain to get compiled
on a pi.

Thanks for the reply.? You are correct.? There were quite a few corrupted files in the python directories.? Before I attempted to re-program the SA818, I created a backup of the configuration files including my Supermon2 directories.? I re-imaged the micro-sd
card, inserted into the pi and started the initial configuration of networking, but did not allow asterisk setup.? I did the admin menu a few more times to ensure all updates were on the system and restored by backed up config files.? I rebooted and I was
back to where I started, but with a fresh python install.? I ran SA818-prog and changed the frequency.
I am somewhat glad it took awhile for my post to actually show on the forum.? The 'wait' forced me to delve deeper and after a few searches for the specific error I was getting, I knew I had to refresh python.? It was just a matter of determining how to refresh.?
The hamVOIP distro is the only Arch Linux I have used and I am not familiar with 'pacman' to install packages.? I found the python directories in the repository at hamVOIP.com, but did not seem to be able to get the python package refreshed properly.? Decided
to deploy the nuclear option and everything came back.

Knowing where in the boot process it reboots would be helpful.
Can you record the screen on a cellphone and then transcribe the last few lines before reboot OR share a link to the video.

Hello Barry,
This sounds like a problem with hairpin NAT. Some of the components
are loading from your dynamic DNS hostname, which is returning your
public IP. But your router is not forwarding those requests internally
to the appropriate resource, because they are already coming from an
internal IP.
Some routers have options to deal with this, most others don't. And
its all dependent on the type of router and firmware loaded on it if
this is fixable or not.

Thanks, yes I am figured it out, supermon dashb works just fine if I'm off my network on been cell service off my wifi or anywhere else, it's just weird.

Pi3 will not boot when SHARI PiHatU GPIO connector is plugged in
I have a Pi-3 based PiHatU. ?If I leave J1 disconnected, the Pi boots normally. I¡¯ve check the wiring to the Pi test points¡ no shorts, no solder bridges & the wire colors appear connected to the correct test pts.

Thanks for the responses. Stupid me had one of the USB ports on the Shari plugged in with an extension cord to keep it operational so once the programming port was re-engaged all is well. SMH
