Both USB ports plug into the raspberry pi.? It get its power from the pi. You do not need a Shari node unless you want to run an analog radio separately.?? You do need an allstar node with dvswitch server loaded on to act as a bridge to what ever digital mode you want.?? You can use dvswitch mobile app to connect to any allstar node it does not need a node to do that. You can connect to say my node directly. It is built into the app

1) What are the 2 USB ports used for? I presume one is a connection to the PC?
In the SHARI PiXX product, both USB ports connect to Pi3 or Pi4.? One is used for Allstar and the other is used to progrm the SA818 radio module in the PiXX (frequency. subaudible tone, squelch, etc)
2) Is a power supply come with Pi3U or Pi4U? If not, what do I need to power the board?
A genuine? Raspberry Pi power supply is included with all of our assembled and tested units. A clamp-on ferrite used to mitigate "buzz" issues is also included.?
3 Do either of the units come with an Ethernet connection? If not, do i connect to my WI-FI?
Our SHARI PiHat assembled products (Neo, Unistorm and Pi53) products include the Raspberry Pi which has an Ethernet connection and WiFi.? Our SHARI PiZero products include 3 microUSB ports which can be used with a microUSB to Ethernet dongle ($10 option from us).? The HamVOIP and ASL3 Allstar images both include provisions to setup WiFi.
