Tell your blind member to get subscribed to the Blind Hams email list on groups.io in the normal manner. We can and will get this person through all the things they will need to know about running an Allstar node accessibly.

I downloaded and printed the Shari Allstar Node Setup and Configuration file, printed copies and placed them in Binders for our club group build. We had one guy never soldered, a blind ham, and a new tech that his license was a few days old.
Everyone took a manual home because not everyone had an allstar node # and of course setting it to their network at home - 100baseT or wifi..
We built them, and tested them against my unit - all worked, and the guys when home to finish the setup at their house. I do go over to the blind ham's house and did his.
Since it was a club group build.. 3 guys paid to have me supply the RPI3+.. I recommend VILROS.com over Canakit, as VIRLOS has a kit:
It has a nice case and a UL approved "Wall-wart" 2.5 amps with a in line power switch.
We also bought our 8Gb SD cards in bulk on line for $3.89 cents we bought 2 for each guy.. and programmed 1/2 of them, and then the 2nd one is to copy for a backup.
Final thought- If you are debating RPI3 versus RPI4.... The 3 will suffice just fine.. W?VFW has a VHF and UHF repeaters both with ALLSTAR and BOTH are running on Rasperry PI 2's.... which has a slower processor than a RPI3 and no wifi..? Microcenter has RPI3+'s for $29.95 in store. RPI3 for $26.99.
