Allstar test to C4FM with the Murphy Radio Network to take place at 11:45 this monring
羲堁极郤
Good Morning,
At 11:45 we are conducting a test between SADRC and the Murphy Radio network who provides coverage in the Fort Worth area.? As we grow, we want to understand our capabilities for emergencyyste management should we need further communications around the state.
We have hardened our communication system working with repeaters at the Texas coast so we want to try some things untested linking to an analog network via our FCS 3 Room 46 reflector.
We have already tested with the Texas Nexus and we are able to bridge the networks for emergencies only.? We will not be combining the Texas Nexus and SADRC permanently to be clear.
Please listen in at 11:45 this morning for our test.

I am looking for a used and reasonable priced GMRS mobile radio.

When I am up at our family property in Central Texas, I find GMRS is my better choice when working on the property as my GMRS license allows family members to be on the radio as well.

This chair was left at Winter Field Day at Shavano Park.
I have the two attached photos, but do not know this person's name.? J.D. are the initials on the chair.
They were remotely operating from the park to their home.
I'm sure someone can share their info with me, so I can get the chair back to them.

Re: Do we have Too Many Digital Modes
The manufacturers saw a good idea and jumped to be first and lock in their product line as the best. We have several voice protocols now: AM, FM, and SSB. The better radios support all as they are in the public domain now. Will the best digital mode emerge like VHS beat Betamax or will we have a bunch for a while going forward? I have noticed that Kenwood put D-Star on a HT. Is that the start of a trend? The marketplace is going to decide who has the best feature set for the right price point. Currently, I have YSF, DMR, and D-Star so I can learn about all 3. 73, Harold AE5AS Harold C. Fleischer, III haroldcf@...
