The RT Systems software backs up your settings and my case when my radio lost everything from its memory, the software restored all saved data instantly. In addition, Ray System actually has real live support personnel you can actually talk with.?

RT has an import feature where you can tell it to use repeaterbook or a few other sources given a location like Bexar County and then RT can auto-format the file to the FTM 500.
