I agree completely with using ethanol-free gasoline. It is available in Florida at WaWa. Modern cars have knock sensors that will adjust the timing to prevent detonation. Even the high-performance

If solder is not possible ! Google ! Copper conductive tape. No need to solder. Use some 1000 grit sand paper clean surfaces and stick it on. Be sure to get the double sided copper conductive
