I have Hankook Kinergy ST 195/60 14 in front and 205/70 in rear on my S1. They are a good all around tire. They are H rated so technically good to 130 mph. ?I did track on them twice and seemed fine. Certainly not Pilot Sports but they held up. They are excellent in the rain in case you get caught in the wet stuff.?
On a similar line, what pressures are people running in their tires?

I don't know what to tell you.?? I've not purchased new tires for my Esprit S2 or ?clat in the last few years (Covid +), and of late many of the smaller diameter performance tires have disappeared from the market.?? 13" & 14" rims in particular, but also 15".??
I was thinking of doing an internet survey after the holidays, but for now, I don't have an answer... I'm wondering myself.
Then, of course, due to the difference in stock wheel widths, the tires that work on my S2 won't be right for your S1.
I used to be into autocrossing.?? I liked the handling of the DOT Road Race tires so much, that I started using them as my only tires... street & AutoX.?? Currently, I have two Eclats, an Esprit S2, a Europa S2 and a MR2 Mk1 SC, all sitting on DOT Road Race
Tires.?? Tread life in 'miles' isn't any where near as long as with 'street' tires, but they're 'quality' miles.
