I¡¯ve used mostly longer strips, 16' or so. ?I have a suspended ceiling, so they went right on the Metal dividing strips between the tiles. ?I suppose you could use running boards or painters tape on sheetrock. ?In other rooms, I have plaster and they peel right off.

? In my current layout room, I used 6¡± led ¡°pucks", similar to the 12¡± ones in the first photo. ?I wanted to replace the old ¡°ceiling can¡± style fixtures without leaving holes in the ceiling. ?They are also adjustable for temp and?
Brightness. ?Very easy to install and don¡¯t require a fixture.

How are LED strips to be mounted.? You cannot apply an adhesive strip to your ceiling sheetrock(or tile).? When removing, it could tear the sheetrock surface.? Are running boards used?
