With a bit of very crude dental-like
work I've successfully swapped out positions of my two cranes.?
One base needed a bit of cleanup but the other went really fast.?
I just used a common pliers that was wrapped with a handkerchief
to prevent damage.? Now just a few weeds and a spoon full of earth
will finish up this project.
Regarding my drill bits--thanks for the
education about them.? Another great reason I can ask a expert or
two.? So I will avoid them entirely since despite having a small
drill press, I don't have the rest of the equipment to make it
work.? But it sure would be nice to have all the bits positioned
in the same size col-let.?
I've sent them packing, so they'll be
leaving for California shortly!? During this process I've
unearthed 4 packs of the smaller range of bits including one set
in a vinyl pack that came from my high-school era purchased from
Branchline Models in Memphis,Tenn!?

I once tried to use them but it quickly broke.?
I don't think I've tried any since, so to the back of the
drawer they went!? I'm wondering if you gentlemen have used
them successfully and how you deal with carbide bits??
