I've been looking for a granite plate for laying out work for a while. My wife and I stopped in to a kitchen supply showroom for some countertop samples so I asked them if they sold any of the odds and ends that may be left over. They said that they have discontinued samples that I could have! So I grabbed this 10"x10" piece. Not suitable for a machine shop but just fine for me!
