I seem to recall someone announced here they were working on a kit for this model from the late 1930's.? Or am I just dreaming?? I'm hoping for one with the triangle cutout sides to come to market.? I can kitbash one, but at my age it might take two years of solid work. (8-)

Yes, I was and I still am working on that ACF 70 Tonner with open sides. A fall down the basement steps cause a broken leg, which

took months to heal.?

Good news is, I'm back to working on that project. Right now, I'm building some test models to see how the 3D printing is working

out. This 3D printing is a real pain trying to get all the details right. Very shortly I'll be offering up some of the test models. The car

will come pretty much assembled, with about an ounce of weight added to the inside of the hoppers. I have well over a hundred?

hours in this project, not counting the time it takes?to print the whole thing. So far, I've used over $200 worth of resin, but getting

pretty close to some sort of finish. The price will be $75 per car with free shipping.
