Just to give a flavor for how much effort was required to produce these "homemade" kits, the PVSGA sandhouse required two particularly difficult to construct parts: ?The sand spout, that was produced on a lathe (by the only club member who had a lathe), and the roof vent (I forget how that was made).

No 3D printing back then!

Gives you a better appreciation for the level of effort required of Frank Titman to produce so many S scale structure kits back in the Old Days!
