Jim,, Jamie

I thought the NYC observation car looked so much like the AM boat tail car--I thought the GN car used was a good choice for all those paint choices.? My UP version only being a stand in as they only had two of them!

My better half and I rode the Metro North line from "someplace" (near where the Mark family lived) into the city for a few hours, and managed to find our way back to our hotel.? We had a nice ride, but didn't have a clue what was happening as it was dark the entire time.?

Jim,
I only watched the first few minutes, but the ex-NYC passenger cars made it time well spent.?
Thanks,

Subject:? Chasing the Metro North Employee Holiday Train

Tim Hosey - Retired Railfan Horn Guy - posted a 34 minute video showing the Metro North? Holiday Train amid intense evening action on the Harlem Line.
?

?
We get a GCT track 34 platform inspection of the train.? Four of the five cars are ex-NYC: Hickory Creek, Silver Stream and 43 in NYC Livery.? The east end power is 211 - Metro North's NYC Heritage unit.? The west end power is MN 214, the employee recognition unit.
?
He catches the train 3 times out on the Harlem line.? The last, at Fordham, is the best, good lighting, with 211 leading eastbound.
