Re: List of remaining unreleased originais after Archives III
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýYes, I looked at Bluenote Cafe release.? All of them i listed are there... Strangely enough, from your list, only "Modern World" still shows up as "unreleased" at Sugar Mountain's site. Maybe the others were "released" for subscribers at NYA (even if still not properly released at an official album)?

Re: List of remaining unreleased originais after Archives III
Thanks, Robert! That's what I was looking for.
?
Sugarmountain lists 57 still unreleased songs. I listened to some of them in the past (at ABD or live recordings), but others are new to me. Are they all available (for trade or torrenting), or are there any listed songs still unheard? I'd like to make a new compilation or playlist (archives be damned style) with all that are available.

I just received my Archives III box here in Brazil (thanks to a fellow rustie who brought it to me with his luggage for his vacations here in Rio) and I couldn't help but remember my dear friend Chico, who passed away almost six years ago.
?
Chico was very active at this group many years ago, contributing with lots of artwork for bootlegs from the Greendale era and beyond. He had a huge musical collection and was very generous with his trades, back at the "mail days" before torrents and streaming. I'm sure many of you older rusties remember him.
?
I met Chico just before the 2001 Rock in Rio concert, and we became buddies ever since. He was literally my best friend for almost two decades, until his untimely passing in 2019 due to a heart attack. It is a pity that he never lived to see (and hear) the release of Archives II and III, which he liked to call "the Holy Graal in parcelments". I bought both sets in his honor and made it a kind of a personal ritual to hear every new NY release thinking about him, as well as a "special hearing session" at his birth and death anniversaries (I'll do it again soon).?
?
If you knew Chico, please light a candle, say a prayer or send happy thoughts to him next February 8th, wherever he may be. He would surely appreciate it!
?
Thanks and all the best,

Does anyone know where I could find (or better still, can someone share it here) the list of original Neil songs that remain officially unreleased after Archives III??
?
Thanks in advance!

Re: List of remaining unreleased originais after Archives III
The Hargus "Pig" Robbins version of "Down By The River" with the piano/guitar call and response for one.
?
Neil said during an interview in Nashville it was too good to release on "A Treasure" because it would have
overshadowed the whole thing.?? It should have been on Vol. III but maybe it was too good for that? also... |
