So here is my 'remaster' of the new Glastonbury 2009 Timeline concert as a set of 16 FLAC files. The audience sections at the beginning and end have been shortened a little and the acoustic section has been brought up to the
same level as the two electric sections so that you don't have to reach for the volume knob. A couple of clunky noises of guitars being plugged in have been removed too.
I read some comments on Facebook that some people thought the sound quality was maybe not as good as it could be ? Sounds OK to me TBH. I do however think it's a shame that a full video version isn't available...the BBC only
showed 5 tracks out of the 16 played....Words, Needle, Get Behind the Wheel, RITFW and A Day In The Life. Maybe they wanted too much money for the rest of it, who knows?
Anyway, enjoy, I'll post the Gilleys Rodeo TC as and when it's all done.
Ron?
PS if you feel like spending some money on something physical, I have my third Iain Matthews box set coming out on Cherry Red Records next Friday December 6th - The Vertigo Years - 5CDs including a newly compiled live album
of previously unreleased material, featuring Iain with, among others, Richard Thompson, Andy Roberts, Jim Fogarty, Bradley Kopp, Egbert Derix and BJ Baartmans.

Re: New Timeline concert - Glastonbury June 2009
You're the best Ron! Much appreciated and looking forward to it.?
I did attend the Antwerp concert a little bit earlier in the tour and that was a great experience. I sure hope the rumors are true that Neil is coming over to Europe!

All the best, Rogier |

Looking for info on David Nelson Band 2/20/04 -Neil Content
Going through my old audio disks and found David Nelson Band 2004-02-20 with no other info. It has 5 Neil Covers on it - Lookout Joe/Albuquerque/Everybody's Alone/Big Time and The Losing End. I just need the venue information and, if possible, the rest of the setlist if anyone has it. I've scoured the net for setlist info, but to no avail.

Thanks,

Henry Diltz sighting (some Neil content)
Henry Diltz, the photographer who's taken some amazing pictures of Neil and other rock music people over the years (as well as numerous album covers including the first CSN album) was at the dB's concert last night in L.A. Sure enough, he was standing close to the front of the stage, taking pictures of the opening group Vicki Peterson and John Cowsill (and presumably also took pictures of the headliner). Very nice person when I introduced myself. Here's one of his Neil pics.?

Re: NYA Vol I tracks
You can rip a bluray disc if you have a bluray drive and the right software. I use MakeMKV to create a back up of the disc to my hard drive. This strips the copy protection that is on bluray discs, which will then allow you to make Audio files from it. I then use DVD Audio Extractor to rip from the back up file. It allows you to rip into several different formats and in whatever sound quality you'd like up to the maximum quality on the original disc. You can also rip surround mixes to files, like Atmos mixes, etc. MakeMKV is available as a free download, but it's a little bit of a pain because you have to periodically enter a new key to keep using it. I paid for it to eliminate that, but I use it pretty frequently. I think I probably paid for DVD Audio Extractor, too, but I don't think it was very much and I use it quite a bit, too. There might be free software out there that does the same thing. I've ripped Volume 1 with all the bonus tracks, all my DVD-Audio and bluray discs, all at super hi-res. You cannot rip SACDs this way,? though. That is way more complicated and I've never done it.?

Re: NYA Vol I tracks
Hi,
(1) When you log in to nya you can navigate to the store, , you can go to "My Downloads" and redownload any of your purchases.
(2) All 3 volumes of the archives? can be purchased there as well in high resolution, albeit only the audio files, not any of the movies.
(3) When you buy physical media and it has a download code for NYA, in the store there's a "code redemption" link and you put your code in, and it gets added to your list of purchases as if you had bought the audio files there. So as in #1, it will appear in your "My Downloads" area.
(4) This is a "hi res" store,? Neil's not about to sell you mp3s .?

NYA Vol I tracks
Hi everyone,
Like all of you(?) I've bought hardcopies of NYA Vol I, Vol II and now Vol III (and soon Vol IV and Vol V).
I load all my purchases into iTunes(now called Music app). The tracks for Vol I are all corrupted. I think I got them from NYA (as mp3?) using the CODE on the plastic card. I emailed Customer Support at NYA and they responded the downloads are not available.
?
My question is: is there somewhere I can re-download the tracks as flac, wav or even mp3?? As you know the discs in the box are Blu-Ray.
