YouTube.? Volume 6 adds images of Dee August, Eric Vandercar,
"Modemless" Fred Tenisci, Gary Black, Geoff "Locator" Ryan, Janice
Hamacher, Jon Wehan, Olof Bj?rner, Rainer Bulheier, and Susan Strahan
Earley King. I have also added a photo of Neil with Elliot Roberts. We
honor their memory.

Re: Honey Slides 2024

The sources given in ?for Vol. 3 "Even More Honey Slides" are?sufficiently accurate, especially when considering the?introductory words "In recent years, Young has begun sporadically posting a selection of complete live gigs on his Archives site, spanning from the late 1960s to the late 2010s... For this mix, the third installation of our Honey Slides series, we’ve grabbed a few highlights (as well as a choice Barn jam) for your enjoyment." = The live selections where taken from NYA Timeline Concerts

I went to that page and typed "Neil Young Honey Slides" into the search bar and lots of stuff came up.

Sorry to confuse people.

Re: Honey Slides 2024

Is there anymore track info on Honey Slides 2-3-4. I think there was a bit of discussion on Vol 1 as to what each tracks origins were. It doesnt matter a lot for me but I know some like all the information. I think Robert Broadfoot for original compilation.

I was looking for some info on the Honey Slides? compilations and came across this Aquarium Drunkard Mixcloud site. Lots of Neil young stuff on here.

Cool, Arthur, sounds good. I've just been looking at your Honeysldes #1 artwork that Gary posted, it was really very good !

I'm just about to re-record HS#2 as yesterday's recording has a dropout in it.?

Re: Honey Slides 2021 Artwork & Track info

Artwork and track listing for Volume 1

Track info:

?

1. Interstate, 1990, from the Ragged Glory sessions, released in 1996 in Australia on the CD EP Big Time, and as Side 4 of the vinyl double LP version of Broken Arrow. Due to appear "soon" on NYA.

2. Little Wing, live electric version with The Ducks, presumably 2 Sep 1977, Santa Cruz (date/location?)

3. Gateway Of Love, live 7/3/01 in Stockholm, Sweden, so far unreleased, studio version expected on Toast

4. Wonderin’, outtake, 5 Aug 1969, with Crazy Horse

5. The Last Trip To Tulsa, live in Hamburg '76 with Crazy Horse. This is not the B-side single version recently released on Archives Vol. 2.

6. Singer Without A Song, live, HELP! (date/location?) Electric guitar band version, don't think I have heard this before. Sugar Mountain only lists piano versions.

7. Live To Ride, 1993, aka Dream Machine / Friend of Mine, live Torhout, Belgium 7/3/93, Booker T. & MGs Tour

8. Mr. Soul, 1982, extended dance remix from the Sample And Hold 12” single

9. Sample And Hold, live, Universal Studios, MTV Unplugged recording, 7 Feb 1993, with The Stray Gators

10. On The Beach, solo acoustic version, Fireside Sessions II, Daryl Hannah & Neil Young's home, Telluride. 26 Mar 2020 (broadcast date)

11. Theme From Dead Man, 1995, this version was not released on the Dead Man album, according to Neil “an oversight”

Just been playing the first original Honey Slides in the car on the motorway up to Leeds for today's football...what a brilliant selection of tracks Tyler Wilcox came up with for that first one.

ISO: 1996 Farm Aid in Lossless

Does anyone have a link to Neil's 1996 Farm Aid set in lossless? Looking at my library that's one of only two circulating 1996 show I don't have. The other one is the one song MTV Music Awards performance.

Thanks.?

Working on both, Jim. I’ll post them sometime next week. I’ve listened to HS3 and it’s excellent, haven’t listened to #2 yet.

Re: Honey Slides 2024

My filing system didn't let me down....For anyone who doesn't have this, here are the FLACs of the remaster I did on the first of the four Honeyslides podcasts a couple of years or so ago, thankfully easy to find.

I guess somewhere I still have the FLACs of the very first one. I'll have a look tomorrow. I know I did a remaster at the time to put on my car iPod. I'll see what I can do with the second and third in due course too.

Thanks so much, Ron!?

Hey, you mentioned previously that AD omitted mentioning "Pushed It Over The End" in their listing, but do you have any idea what the source or year for that is?

cheers

Arthur, when the first of the four Honeyslides shows was broadcast, you made a nice artwork cover from the picture of Neil they have on the AD website and I have that one on my iPod. Just wondering if you did any for the two that followed and maybe this latest one ?
