Available: Pete Long's Ghosts on the Road: Neil Young in Concert

 

Hello, all --

I have a mint, unread copy of the oversized paperback edition of Ghosts on the Road that needs a new home; it was published in January 1996.

I checked eBay and found only 1 copy available, and this one from Japan! I then checked ABEBooks.com and found only two paperback editions, one from Germany, and the other, a U.S. *used* copy for $60.00.

If you are interested, simply make me an offer and I'll go with the best one. You can email me at marty dot halpern at gmail dot com. Sorry, but United States only and you must be able to pay via PayPal. I'll pick up the tab for shipping via media mail.

It's about 7:15pm PST on Wednesday, Oct. 27th. Since people don't always read their email immediately, I'll keep the offer open until Saturday midnight PST, Oct. 29th -- and make a final decision and let the recipient know on Sunday, Halloween!

Our ancient ancestors used to pile stones/boulders up in tribute to the fallen
and this song is very much like that as a lyrical "cairn." ?



Was just reading about "Florentine Codex" that tells the story of Mexico
from the Spanish who were the victors on the left side of the page
but each page is written in two columns with the conquered getting
their say in the history on the right side of the page.? The Spanish thought
the right side was a perfect copy of the left side of the page but it
wasn't.?

Very interesting unique and profound history lesson...

It's a great kind of grungy release by Neil, lots of tracks you don't normally get to hear except at a club show like this....nevertheless still sounds more like a bootleg than a soundboard to my ears !
But let's not be critical, this is the 15th Timeline Concert he's put up on NYA...just how cool is that !
