Re: New Timeline Concert Gilley's Texas Sept 84

It's been cold and snowy in the UK so I took some time at my PC yesterday to finally finish off the Gilley's Rodeo show, recorded directly from the NYA stream and then edited and turned into FLAC files (22 songs + band intro).

It's a really great show content-wise but the raw recording has quite a few flaws TBH. But it's done now so here you go.......If you've heard the original you will know it starts with about 15 seconds of applause and then suddenly cuts into the middle of Are You Ready For The Country (the track listing has an asterisk against it on NYA so I guess that acknowledges that there was a break in the recording). The more I listened to the beginning, the more it jarred on me so I decided in the end to just fade it in instead. The recording has also been edited to shorten some between song breaks, remove nasty noises as much as possible (there are quite a few on this one, not all removable) and to make Neil's speech levels between songs as even and audible as I could get them. I also had a few problems on this one with the editing program I normally use so TBH folks this is basically as good as it's going to get !

Thanks in advance for working on this one, Ron. This is one I'm really looking forward to having in a tracked version. The International Harvesters are very special to me. That's when I became a fan.?
