Re: In Praise of Landing on Water

I like Landing On Water too. One reason why it gets such a poor
reputation is that Neil himself thought very lowly of it. And that
it carries so much of that 80's electronic sound that were loathed
in the 90s.

Forget the souuuuunnnnndddddd for a moment....there are some good
catchy
songs on the album and lyrically they are quite clever and
precise...'Bad
News Beat' has got to be one of Neil's catchiest and most
memorable hooks...
Dig, right on, and far out and groovy, Keith. Gotta agree with a
LOUD voice,
LOW is frikkin great. From first groove to last, I rank it high
on my
favorite Neil LPs. Simply classic, cutting edge, memorable, and
rrrrrrrrrrrrrockin.

Whether you know it or not, you just inducted yourself into R-
FLOW, the
Rusties For Landing On Water Revolutionary Army. Congratulations,
Lieutenant
Keith!
