Re: Stupid Bridge School Ticket Question...nnc

Fraid not Matt. I have bought from ticket broker slime and asked them how it works. Prior to this I got sick once and had a mosh pit ticket to Creed I couldn't use. Found out they would've payed me big for it.

Don't understand the concept of sending people to stand in line for them though. Aren't most sales don't online or by phone? Do people really camp out for seats still?

Thanks for the clarifications on yet another evil method they use.

slim (not to be confused with slime)

Actually, the simple answer is that for most big-venue concerts, ticket
brokers make deals directly with the promoters and venues, arranging to
purchase blocks of the best seats before they're ever put on sale to the
public. It's a complete myth that ticket scalpers get their tickets by
sending people to stand in line or by purchasing tickets from fans who
bought them legitimately. Those things are done, but mostly to keep up
appearances. I have the utmost respect for Neil Young and the Bridge
School, but I have no reason to believe that this isn't exactly what
goes on with the BSB each year.
