Farm Aid (TV) thoughts...
Very nice Neil performances. A bit disappointing when he started
out with Old Man and HOG, but in retrospect, I think Neil was
going for "comfort tunes" as much for himself as anything.
He sure knows how to use his rants on national TV, in prime time
no less. I'm sure CMT folks are cringing when Neil starts talking.
They even bleeped him once. And did Neil flub verses on CAT? He
made a face like, uh oh, another senior moment. Seemed nervous.
Kudos to CMT for finally airing whole sets and saving commercials
for the set changes. DOH!
Gillian and David only get two songs! Criminal.
