Thanks for the info! But, I am quite certain my cable is faulty. The tip of the LINE IN goes no where (open). I metered it from one end to the other. ?DXengineering is sending another cable.

Hello Jim

When connecting the TI-5000 to your computer the above (virtual) dedicated comports are created for the TI-5000. So do not use COM4 in Wsjtx when using the TI-5000, but use the indicated Com-ports as shown above:?COM8 for CAT - and COM9 for PTT.

Other settings I use with my K3:
CAT settings: Databits 8, Stopbits 2 and handshake none.
PTT settings: RTS, Mode None and Split operation Fake it.
