You can get in via VNC?

Re-read the pi foundations info. The oversized wall wart is to enable full power on the USB ports for SATA drives etc. On the standard adapter, they limit them to 600ma.

According to the pi foundations info, it draws less than the pi4 under the same conditions. Less power per Instruction.? Also runs cooler without heatsinks

From what I have seen in the early YouTube reviews, IO throughput looks to be much better. The UI screen performance looks much snapper and more useable. The RPi5 has a dedicated I/O chip. With better

Appears the only benefit would be the faster processor. Memory (RAM) options
are the same as the Pi4. PoE support but you still need the hat.

Probably not at first. The PI5 needs a more recent OS. The new OS will work on earlier PIs but the new PI5 won¡¯t use the previous OSs.
