You can expand the extra capacity in raspi-config on first boot on new medium. In terminal, sudo raspi-config. 73

I presume your search was performed visually. The Linux operating system has a find command that will walk filesystems searching for a file name provided to it a one of the required arguments.

Raspberry Pi 400 works fine. OS is basically Debian so you'll be OK there. Remember that a Pi 400 will boot from an external USB drive so as small USB SSD works fine. I'm using the Samsung T7 model
