The Linux operating system has a find command that will walk filesystems
searching for a file name provided to it a one of the required arguments.
Here's a suggested command you might try:
find / -name WSJT-X\* 2>/dev/null
^ Send error messages to the bit bucket
^ The (prefix of the) file name to find
^ The directory in which to begin searching
^ The find command
I've attached a few find shell scripts I've found useful over the years.

Re: Backing Up Pi?? Balena Etcher?? #raspberrypi

You can expand the extra capacity in raspi-config on first boot on new medium. In terminal, sudo raspi-config. 73

I use for home use, which has a 500GB SSD courently and it would be nice to keep a

Good morning, OM,?

I’m contemplating the same. Buying a 400 for my station.?

I can also give a vote for the Ham Pi suite. I currently run it on my pi and it does everything I’ve asked of it.?

I see no reason the install on the 400 would be simple and straightforward.?

Re: subMenu item setup for WSJT-X ?? #pi #linux

Do the following

sudo apt install synaptic?

After installing, synaptic will show in your preferences drop down menu click it on and go to its amateur radio programs. Most ham programs for the pi are there, including a ham radio menu item that provides a menu and puts all your ham programs there.?

Your Pi doesn't have .exe files. That's a Windows peculiarity.

Hello John,

Clicking the Raspberry Pi icon in the upper left hand corner of the display
reveals the drop-down menu. Click the Preferences icon (third from bottom),
and chose Main Menu Editor from the fly-out menu. The user interface is
pretty intuitive. I'm sure you can take it from there.
