Re: New member
The B+ doesn't have any I/O that the b didn't, other than 2 more USB ports. What has changed is they moved some I/o that was in a different location. Now everything is on the 40pin? connector. Each

Re: TNC-Pi firmware - any updates?
Thanks John. Will update i2ckiss but otherwise will leave well alone. I may also be obtaining a new model RPi in the near future but not so sure I will use it with the TNC-Pi as that board does not

BTW, I am already aware of the GertDuino board. I plan to get one of those unless there is a better option somewhere.

Dave, NF2G, jumping aboard.
I have an Arduino Uno and plan to use it along with a Raspberry Pi B+. I have not yet ordered the Pi, though.
I notice that the B+ alone is $35 and has some inputs and

Re: TNC-Pi firmware - any updates?
Dick,
There have been a few minor changes to the firmware, but nothing that would
improve normal running.
If you use the i2c interface, there have been updates to i2ckiss, but not

TNC-Pi firmware - any updates?
My TNC-Pi has a board marked Rev. 1.1 2/2013. This has been working well with my Raspberry Pi model B boards for about 18 months. Question is have there been any firmware or software updates or

Re: WL2K setup
Hank,
Yes, people are doing that. I'd suggest using LinBPQ, (not surprisingly!),
but there are other options.

WL2K setup
Okay gang...
Here is my first NOOB question. I would like to set up the Raspberry Pi with the TNC-Pi as a WL2K VHF gateway. Or if that is not possible, just a digipeater to maybe reach another

Re: USB Oscilliscopes
I have noticed 20MHz and 40MHz. Well more than good enough for audio but marginal for HF unless you are playing wound with the IF section.

I have a very good HP scope good to 200MHz. In its day (not all that long ago) it was a very expensive high quality item. I bought it got less than $200 but ut does take up a lot of real estate on

From your description it sounds like the only Bluetooth device is the HC-07. The wireless keyboard and mouse don't sound like they are Bluetooth because you said "just plug, power up and go". If you

Re: USB Oscilliscopes
I would be interested if one of them went at least to 100MHz, 200MHz would be ideal. They all seem to be low frequency, e.g. 1MHz or less.

Re: USB Oscilliscopes
I haven't seen much in the advertisements that indicate what frequencies these devices cover. For the cheap ones I've heard they will not cover many of the ham frequencies.
