I think that I have made some progress.
I hooked it to a very crappy HDMI monitor that I got with this RP. Anyway, I powered it up with no SD card and no USB thumb drive. I think that I am in the bootloader diagnostics. It is just a green screen that has some info on the board and every 20 seconds it repeats:
Failed to open device:? 'sdcard'?
root HUB port 1 init
USB MSD times out after 20 seconds.?
I think that this is progress but I know not what to do now.?
