Actually, I am using the official 7" screen, but I don't think it really matters. I haven't tried the VNC thing, I'll give that a go at some point though.
As I noted, it did work properly with the V1.0 HamPi distro, but doesn't in V2.0, for whatever reason. It could be a WSJT-x issue. I'm no expert. I can live with until a solution comes along.
As for the <...>/zzzzzz thing, I was actually transmitting that for my call letter, it was ignoring my call in the setup window. Weird. I'm not certain if you meant you had it for your transmitted call, or you've seen it go by in something you see in the receive pattern. Maybe you saw me transmitting Hi Hi.
