Hello, does anyone have a circuit or any information on the power module of the PRC350 please? It's module 16. Mine tries to start, but stops drawing any current. I have a block diagram, but nothing else. Thank you Andy G7BAV

Hello does anyone have the circuit diagram for the MA-824 as fitted to the TRA-921 please? Also a clear layout would help as well please. The 921 handbook does not seem to have these diagrams in. Thank you

Hi guys, I'm bringing a TRA-931 back from the dead. On my RF board sits a piggyback board which I presume is the Switching & Fixed Level Audio Amplifier Board. This is though, very different to the one shown in the manual. Nothing matches, pin numbers, semiconductor count, semiconductor type etc etc. Mine is marked CD713250, yet the one in the service manual is CD713163. Is there a schematic for the type of board I have?

Hi, All, I'm working towards a database of the Racal equipment which interests us, beginning with the manpacks (including green handhelds and "squad" radios) themselves, and eventually including all the contemporary green equipment too. I'd begun this during the last few days, but thanks to member Alan, I now have a bigger list of manpacks which includes non-Racal models too. Which radio models used the RA250 handset with the 10pin U77/u connector?

Evening all, I'm after some information about a battery for the PRM4720/4515. I have a charged battery (which soon won't be!) that I'm hoping to re-cell with three Lithium 18650 batteries and associated BMS. The battery that I have appears to be larger than typical batteries for this series of radios, in that its case is approximately 75mm high, hence why I think I can fit the 18650's in it. So, two questions: 1) Can anybody tell me the correct part number for this larger battery pack? 2) Does anybody know of a source of this battery type (dead or alive)? Unfortunately, the pack is devoid of any markings apart from a Red Racal label with a stick-on serial number label. Any help appreciated. Keith

This must have been someone who had visited the VMARS compliment, and seen me talking or demoing the radio, who clearly took a shine to it, relieving me of it in the early hours The Theft has been logged with Glos Police and I am awaiting a Crime Number from SOC, Please keep your eyes peeled for a E Bay or Market Place of any other area that Mil radio is offered There is a Substantial reward offered for information received leading to offenders and or return of Eqpt This photograph is dated Jun 2023 and luckily that was in my gallery on my Phone If you can help contact me privately.
